2010 Lexus RX

With each revision of the RX, the changes seem become even more imperceptible. I take that as a sign that Lexus pretty much has the RX exactly where it wants it to be. The biggest deal for me was the "Remote Touch" controller that comes with the new hard disk based navigation system. The controller is like joystick controller, with the ergonomic support of a mouse. The innovation, is the haptic feedback that allows you to feel your selections. In the picture above, you see the navigation screen. When moving the controller over each option, it feels like their is a detent or bump that stops you from overshooting your mark. What it looks like to me, is that they've taken the same technology out of you kid's video game controller and applied it the navi with good effect. The graphics themselves aren't as sexy as BMW's iDrive, but controlling the system was very easy.
