GM has pulled several debuts from the LA Auto Show and now comes word that VW has moved back the premiere of its mid-engine roadster concept from LA to Detroit. The roadster is based off an advanced version of the Audi R8 platform and reportedly foreshadows a 2011 production model. Why the change? VW believes that the car will get more attention in Detroit.
