Year after year I never took any of the current Corvette's as a serious car. I always looked at them as the mid life middle american male crisis car.
But after a few months of running past a bright cherry red one on my runs I actually like them. Maybe it's that I'm 38 and I'm in my mid life middle american male criss phase. Too bad my bank account hasn't caught up to me.
The Corvette does have a bit of a rep, but over the years it certainly has gotten more serious about being a sports car. When GM invited us back to Milford to drive their new lineup, the Vette was the most popular car that everyone was fighting over. I don't honestly know if I'd ever buy one, but I do enjoy driving them whenever I get the chance!
