Honda / Acura Diesel--More Details on Delay

Recently there have been reports that the Acura i-DTEC diesel has been delayed/canceled due to emissions issues on automatic equipped models. However, that might not be the reason for the delay. There is new word that Honda is worried about the cost of precious metals used in the catalysts in addition to U.S. diesel prices. Honda is reportedly looking at technologies that could allow it to reduce the cost of emissions equipment. There has been absolutely no official word on any delays for the i-DTEC.
