Infiniti FX50

Infiniti has jumped the shark with the new FX. Whether its the odd grille/headlight treatment or the tacky gills on the side, something about this vehicle turns me off. That's really a shame, because I absolutely adore its slow selling sister the EX35. Every time I crawl behind the driver's seat, I just am blow away by the EX's interior. The downside of course, is that the EX is too small. Infiniti is trying to remedy the situation, but it remains to be seen how much they can do.

Back the FX...Since I love the EX so, it would be great if the FX could simply pick up the ball and run with it: a larger EX if you will. However, the FX stumbles with its odd exterior styling and somehow a less compelling interior that the EX.

I remember with the FX first bowed. Infiniti called it a "Bionic Cheetah" and it was a styling revelation. No one had seen such large wheels on production vehicle. The FX was a crazy, curvy crossover in a heretofore boxy world. I'm sad to see a styling icon become a mockery of itself.

I'm giving this one a boo, hiss!!!

Wrong move from Infiniti.
They have made some nice cars in the past, but this is a no go.
The back is still nice, but the front is just plain ugly, and the interior looks dull.
I have to agree... boo!
