Here's a nice shot of 17 orphans at the "smart center" in Portland, Oregon. Of course October was a hellish for auto sales, but I as I wondered the other day, "Is the bloom off the smart rose?" As one person described it, the smart is a toy, a second or third car for most people and right now no one is buying expensive toys. Personally, I think the other shoe will drop when Toyota announces that the iQ will be sold in the States.
