$900/hr: Isn't That How You Get INTO Bankruptcy?

As Chrysler begins its hopefully short (I have serious doubts about this) journey through bankruptcy court, one interesting nugget that I found was the fact that Chrysler's legal firm, Jones Day, has been authorized to charge up to $900 per hour for its attorney's services.

So this firm must be top notch, right? Well a quick Google search found this quote about a Jones Day legal team, comparing them to "3-year-olds in the sandbox—never have I dealt with more unprofessional attorneys."

Well that's just great news, isn't it?

If he can save them Millions $900 an hour may be a bargain. I must admit it doesn’t look good.

They should have asked me, I'll do it for half the price. I have no legal training of course but i'll still be saving them a lot of money.
