By the Hammer of Thor! Ford Gives US Sedan not Hatch B-Car
Grrr...According to an Automotive News story, the US will get a sedan version of the next Fiesta, to quote "Different regions won't get identical cars. With the coming B-car, for example, Europe will get a hatchback while the United States and China get sedans. "
Why? Ford Why? The hatch body style is infinitely superior in a smaller car. At least give US buyers the choice between the two.
Perhaps it will be the case that Mazda will have the Mazda2 hatch in the US and Ford will not want to compete directly and offer a sedan instead.
No matter, I am disappointed to learn that once gain the US market will be getting shafted.
