My son loves trains. Every weekend we have to go find another ride for him to try out. We're lucky that in the Bay Area there are a lot of great options such as: Tilden's steam trains, Billy Jones Wildcat Railroad in Los Gatos, and Niles Canyon Railway in Sunol to name just a few.
This all segues into the Chrysler Foundation donation of $250,000 to the Detroit Zoological Society to continue to support and refurbish the Detroit Zoo's Tauber Family Railroad. I think the Detroit Zoo is a bit of a drive for us, but it's nice to see Chrysler contributing to the train's upgrade.
