Shameful stuff and sadly this occurred in my home town. Owners of a Redwood City auto shop stand accused of placing dead rodents, or plastic fakes, into engine components in order to file false rodent damage claims. The jig was up when a complaint was filed by State Farm's audit department, which revealed that the shop's average rodent damage claims were five times higher than the state average.
