2009 Civic Brochure

8/19/08 Update: Above are some offical shots from Honda. I've also downloaded the press release Word document and placed it here for your review. Two new models have been added: Civic LX-S Sedan with alloy wheels and sportier interior styling. A new Civic DX Value Package (DX-VP) Sedan builds on the Civic DX Sedan’s standard features by adding air conditioning and an audio system. Bluetooth is available, but as with other Honda products you've got to pony up for navigation. You can now get leather in the Civic Hybrid. What I was disappointed to see is that stability control has not been made standard across the board, you have to purchase a Civic EX-L, Civic Hybrid or Civic Si to get this invaluable safety feature. I'm very disappointed that Honda, "safety for everyone," has skimped on standard stability. It's also a bit vexing that Bluetooth is not available as a standalone option. The bottom line is that the hot selling Civic will continue to sell by like kuh-ray-zay!

Orignal 8/17/08 Post:

Scans from a 2009 Civic brochure have hit the web. I've lined up a 2009 on top and then the same shot (or as close as possible) on a 2008 beneath it. We're not talking huge changes here. The usual stuff like minor grille tweak and swapping out red for amber turn signals at the rear. You can check out the full compliment of scans by visiting 8thcivic.

The Civic is a fine car and these changes do little to sway me one way or the other.
