Nashville: "Everybody has just gone nuts"

A rumor was started in Nashville, Tennessee that the City was about to run out of gasoline. Immediately motorists began to fuel up their vehicles and it didn't take long for the prophecy to fulfill itself: an estimated seventy five percent of Nashville area stations ran out of gas. Motorists followed tanker trucks to see where they were headed and emotions ran high at the pumps. Fuel is flowing into the region and supplies will be replenished, but this just highlights the fact that everyone in a metro area cannot fill up on the same day.
